Roger S. Baum is a best-selling children's book author and the great-grandson of L. Frank Baum, creator of the original Oz book series. This summer, Roger is bringing the Land of Oz to life once more in his newest work, Toto of Oz and the Surprise Party. He is the author of eleven Oz books to date including Dorothy of Oz, which will soon be released in its 10th edition, Rewolf of Oz, Long Ears and Tailspin in Candy Land, The Green Star of Oz, The SillyOZbul Trilogy, Toto in Candy Land of Oz, The Wizard of Oz and the Magic Merry-Go-Round, and Lion of Oz and the Badge of Courage.

Formerly the vice president of a New York investment firm, Roger is known for his creativity and innovations within the business community and is now a noted children's author. He has been recognized by and listed among the most prestigious names of Marquis Who's Who in America. He and his wife, Charlene, recently moved to Missouri, where he will be promoting his books through ongoing book signings at T. Charleston and Son's Books. While many other authors merely sign and date books, Roger has gained a reputation for composing beautiful and heartfelt dedications to his Oz fans at book signings. Roger is currently working on the next addition to his already impressive Oz collection.
